Independent Theater Hungary has been operating since 2007. Our primary goal is to initiate dialogue about societal issues that affect us all, emphasizing the role we can play in creating positive change.
The mission is to empower disadvantaged Roma and non-Roma youth to become successful artists, trainers, and professionals in various fields, as well as active citizens. Independent Theater Hungary aims to foster understanding and acceptance between different groups and create a space where everyone can contribute to building a better society. It also strive to make culture accessible to those who have limited access to it, enabling them to become active citizens. Independent Theater Hungary wants to create meaningful and authentic works of art that reflect contemporary society.
