Dusanka Benic is from the large and well-known blacksmith family Licic in Palanka, where she still lives in the family home. She receives a family pension and is in fairly good health. In her marriage with her late husband, she had four children (two sons and two daughters). Sadly, she lost both sons early, as well as later two grandsons, leaving their widows and families, who now live together with Dusanka.
